SMV-1000/1000Z Digital Micro Vickers Hardness Tester
This digital micro Vickers hardness tester features a unique precision design integrating optics, mechanics, and electronics, delivering clear imaging. It directly displays indentation length, hardness values, and other key measurement results without the need for table lookups or diagonal input. Supporting both Vickers and Knoop hardness measurements, it is equipped with an LCD video measuring device and a CCD automatic imaging system, complying with international standards such as ISO 6507 and ASTM E384. It is widely used for hardness testing of various materials including metals, ceramics, and coatings. Key specifications include a test force range of 0.098N to 9.800N, a hardness measurement range of HV 0.1 to 3000HV, and a total objective magnification of 100× (observation) and 400× (measurement).

Feature:
The digital micro vickers hardness tester adopts unique precision design on optics, mechanic and electrics features, make the indentation image clearer, and get more precise measurements. With digital measuring eyepiece, no need for checking the table or inputting the diagonal of the indentation, it can directly shows the test mode, test force, indentation length, dwell time, test numbers and conversion scale. As long as press the eyepiece button after measuring the indentation length, it can automatically get the hardness value and show on the screen. It can use optional Knoop indenter to measure Knoop hardness. And it can be equipped with LCD video measuring device and CCD image automatic measuring system.

Suitable for ferrous metal, non-ferrous metals, IC thin sections, coatings, ply-metals; glass, ceramics, agate, precious stones, thin plastic sections etc.; hardness testing such as that on the depth and the trapezium of the carbonized layers and quench hardened layers.
